Wendy has popped into my life on many occasions whether I knew I needed her or not.
The first class I took with Wendy was in 2011 during a visit home to Battle Lake. She was hosting a winter solstice yoga party and from that moment, I knew we were going to connect again. Since that beautiful night, Wendy has guided me in countless yoga practices, retreats, helped me find my voice during the Women's Awakening Festival, and listen to the inner voices that tell me to "go for it" or "hold on" deep within. I don't feel over dramatic saying I really don't think I would be where I am (following my heart and creative spirit) if it weren't for Wendy!"
I met Wendy because I wanted to go back to Belize Yoga, and after reading about other instructors, I thought her bio sounded super interesting and something about her photo just made me think she would be a very good teacher. AND boy was I right! After meeting her and attending a few of her classes in Belize, I realized she was about the most authentically connected person I have ever met. It is in her being that all of her great energy and spirit comes out in how she lives, talks, plays & just is. I feel very lucky to have met Wendy and I hope to attend more of her retreats in the future. I feel there is a lot I can learn from her by just hanging around and watching; along with the great classes she teaches. Lucky Me!!"

I first experienced the magic of Wendy at the 2015 Minneapolis Yoga Conference. I had spent a very intense day in a yoga detox workshop. I was in dire need of unwinding. I attended Wendy's “Opening Your Chakras” session and entered a state of peace and relaxation.
I was also at the conference to find Yoga & Spiritual Teachers to donate their talents at a fundraiser. I felt such a draw to Wendy’s aura and light, and blessedly she offered to lead the opening session of the fundraiser and a second session. Her shamanic workshops were so well received, and created the perfect lead-into a dynamic and successful weekend.
I have since attended more of Wendy’s workshops & retreats which have all been profound & engaging. Most recently, I attended a week long Shamanic Yoga Retreat she led in the Jungle and on a private Island in Belize. The retreat was an amazing array of yoga combined with wonderful nature adventures. Wendy was fully immersed with us and her positive energy, joy and respect for all life is always present.
