Find Your Fierce Retreat in Battle Lake MN.

10 years ago I was in a ring situated in the heart of Washington DC.  This type of ring wasn’t adorned with flowers or magical unicorns ~ it was a boxing ring.  I had the privilege to train with a retired professional boxer.  Laurence taught me to jab, punch, bob and weave and most of all...not to get hit.  I remember on one training day ~ when my stomach muscles hurt and my breathing was labored ~ trust me ~ 3 is my all time favorite number ~ but that number observed in a boxing ring seems FOREVER.  {One round of boxing is 3 minutes which also equals infinity}.  Between the panting and sweating ~ my boxing teacher said “I have never seen anyone pick up the grace within boxing as quickly as you have”.
My quick witted reply was ~ I practice yoga.

Oh the irony and the beauty at the same time.  The yin to the yang ~ the power to the peace.


I thrived {and still do} on learning new things to make room for my soul’s expansion. The hours of and weeks of training ~ in that scaled down come as you are boxing gym ~ humbled me to the core and soared me to great heights.  My business name arose from that time ~ adrenazen ~ fusing the harmony of intensity and peace {adrenaline} meets {zen}.   


Time has passed and I’ve officially dropped the “adrenazen” label ~ but the lessons live on.  And on St Patty’s weekend, I’ll be leading a group of 10 on a journey of Finding Your Fierce.


I will be sharing tools from my medicine bag of career coaching, yoga, boxing, and shamanism (the 4 "corners" of the medicine wheel meets the 4 corners of the ring).

Taking place in mid-March ~ right after weeks of the deep winter energies of inner reflection and profound spiritual connection have settled into your cells ~ we enjoy a special retreat space with ~

multiple fire places ~ a separate renovated barn (where we explore the movement) and nature surrounding us with a hug.  A perfect RING of energy.

P.S. As I step more into my fierce, the intuition roars.  I was struggling (nothing like in the boxing ring) but mind you struggling nonetheless with wondering when to hold this retreat.  I decided to take that question into my dreams ~ so my soul could speak ~ uninterrupted by the overly analytical mind.  When my foggy eyes began to open the next morning ~ I saw a blank white canvas floating towards my face and at the last second ~ a bright green shamrock appeared.  I knew it! It was March and guess when the retreat center had an opening...yep.. St Patty's weekend.
